Shipping Of Late Orders
Here's an update on where we're at with orders from the "Crazy 10" sale (and some "Lucky Drop" orders too).
We're late (which I don't think I need to mention... but will at least acknowledge it). I'm not going to give "reasons" or "excuses" or such (I've found people, quite rightly, don't care ...and just want their orders shipped).
Total orders from the sale: (roughly) 1200
Total orders now shipped and delivered: 620
Orders packed and about to be shipped: (roughly) 270
Remaining (mostly, but not all, waiting on Zirconium plates): 300+
The slider bodies for the remaining orders have mostly been made and were just waiting for Zirconium for the plates (we encountered a huge delay from a vendor ...but that material did finally arrive and we're machining, finishing and heat-treating the zirconium now).
Lastly...
There's a huge mob of very annoyed people -- and this is absolutely more than justified -- at me being late yet again. All I can say is we are all working flat-out to fulfill orders.
Other Background Things...
Here's something I've been working on in the background (unrelated to CNC machining):
It's a little "hazy" looking and not very clear - this is because the mold was based on a raw, CNC machined part (which had no sort of polishing or such done to it).
It's definitely possible to get a better finish than this. This is not CNC machined ...but molded from a Silicone mold I made.

Oh yeah almost forgot Hey Magnus I’m an artist and l have a serious passion for pens you think you could slide a nice fidget pen line in? I could even help with the designs I’m a concept design artist. I like the clear it’s perfect especially if you had some type of turbo glow magnet inserts in between so when you get it done I’ll be waiting for my sample 😆

Hey guys fully understand you have a life outside of EDC too and honestly for the quality and service you have been providing THANK YOU I understand about the behind the scenes moments when machines act funky and need a time out or something like that I’m a Veteran and I personally appreciate master craftsmanship and service and will keep an eye for updates 😊
Really curious about the beans I ordered. Just plain ti. Hoping they’ve fallen in the shipped category but I’ve seen no update in my email as of yet!
If you over-promise on time frames, you will only end up under-providing on expectaions. Having said that, people can’t buy a MW slider (Rapt) given anytime and the 2nd hand market is ludicrus with prices 4-5 times a Magnus, and quite frankly although great sliders, so are many magnus made sliders. People will wait and they will order again, and if some don’t their loss.
You mentioned the zirc plates, but can we get an update on the zirc beans?
I’m glad the sale was so successful! I know y’all are working hard to fulfill orders. You even sent half of my order that was ready while I wait for the other half. I know patience will pay off, so no worries here.

Just snagged my first magnus drop and just so happened to be a lucky drop for the exact piece I wanted. This will also be my first quality made slider and I simply Cannot wait to finally get my hands on this fine piece of machined beauty.
I might explode if I wait any longer! 😆
Magnus. I read lots of negative comments about film waiting for the goodies. I’m normally very impatient but I’m happy to wait for my nice new skeleton hex in zirc. I tried to stick up for you on one thread by saying if you want something in a hurry, buy from somewhere where there is stock. All good things come to those that wait. I would also like to say sorry for being a (insert adult descriptive here) about the late orders. I understand at a certain point “I can only do what I can do” (Australian proverb Casey Stoner). Thanks for the updates. The communication is what makes the difference. I appreciate all you and Tina are doing to get our stuff done and will cease being a (insert adult descriptive here). Keep on keeping on out there fam and looking forward to what comes next. Stay safe out there.
