In case you missed it...

Inspired by someone in our Facebook group (who showed what the new Mosaic Turtle could look like with different platelets) - I quickly wrote some software. Actually, more specifically, my son Julien wrote the software.

It's a 3D model of the Mosaic Turtle where you can choose what materials you the Body and Platelets to be (Titanium, Copper, Brass or Zirconium).

It is -- like everything I do -- an experiment. It's been up for 24 hours and it's been pretty damn popular. I'm going to close it 23 hours after I upload this blog post (limiting it on purpose to ensure the numbers are low - because each piece is custom made and build to order ...so I don't want to bite off more than I can chew!).

I've been experimenting a bit more... (of course I have - you must know me by now :-P)

We built a new software tool (yes, it was my son Julien again for this one) to help us create new patterns and designs for Sliders.

It's still in the early stages but I just designed and machined a handful in the last few days. Each one is unique.

Although there are a few I really, REALLY like ...and I feel I just have to make more some more of these (which I probably will). But the rest are "1 of 1".

Again, this is just an experiment and we'll see how it goes.

It's not quite ready (I want to put slightly stronger magnets in it ...and so waiting for those to arrive).

But, other than that, it's pretty damn good (although I am total biased because, as I have mentioned before, the Atom is my #1 personal favourite fidget).
