Clovers, Magic Beans, Knifemaking, Exotics, ..and MORE!
I Didn't Expect This...
I'm had so many people requesting to buy the NEW Mosaic Turtle (emails, comments, etc.).
I am making more - but, as you can imagine, they don't just take a long time to make ...but a lot of work finishing all the parts (30 parts in total) ...assembly (38 screws).
This one came out really well. Not offered it for sale yet - but here's a quick video before it is listed:
We actually have to really keep track of all the parts during the machining, finishing and assembly process.
I ended up 3D printing custom stackable trays to hold the platelets. Yeah, I know, there was no need to design them to look like a Turtle - but it's these "little things" I get a bit of a kick out of. :-D

More SuperConductor
We just received another small batch of SuperConductor material - and it has some really nice patterns:

More Timascus
Just received this stuff ...probably the best mix of Timascus yet. Mosaic Turtles incoming! :-)
More Clover Sliders Coming...
These have been horribly popular - just struggling to get the NC machine time to make more.
Managed to get some made over the last few days though...

In Case You Missed The Last Blog Post...
I talked briefly about the NEW knife lock and knife I'm working on (and have been working on for a couple of years in the background).
I'm not going to talk too much about it - because I've created a dedicated website for knives here:
But, from the last post, I had a LOT of people sign-up to my private knife email list for following the knife journey as it unfold. In fact... I was a bit blown away by how many people have already jumped on the list.
And this is why I'm mentioning it again here...
So many people were really interested and I feel I should do what I can to make sure no one is left out.
Here's a crude, early prototype -- let me emphasize it is CRUDE and ROUGH --of the first iteration of the "Magnus Lock" mechanism in action (and, of course, the mechanism is another never-been-done-before you yours truly :-D)...
Have you seen vosteed’s vanchor lock design? You should check it out
