Three Things In Today's Post:

#1 -- Shipping Update (on "Crazy 10" sale)

I have updated the shipping times. Check the front page of the website. Some things are ahead of schedule ...some are on time ...and others are additionally late.

#2 -- IMPORTANT Shipping Information (Please Read!)

We have always done our best to reduce the likelihood you will have to pay duties/taxes on your shipments.

Unfortunately, going forward, we will be marking the actual price paid as the order value on any package (because, being honest here, we managed to get ourselves into a bit of trouble).

Please don't ask us to mark a lower value on your order because we are unable to do this.

Just to be clear:

Starting today... whatever price you paid for your order, then this is the price we will declare as the value on the package.

Any taxes or duties incurred when your package arrives in your country is outside our control.

I am not usually one to leave comments and replies but I felt the need to do so in this case. I agree with a couple of the comments below. It is infuriating to see Magnus keep updating his homepage with “In stock” and “Ships within 48 hours – unless it’s the weekend” kind of statement when many of us who have already paid for our products and are waiting on the delayed orders by months. It is quite frankly insulting to us that you are shirking off your duties to fulfill orders that have been PAID FOR months prior and prioritize new products and new orders. While I will not cancel what I have already ordered, I certainly will not be coming back in the future.

Soooo… as much I´ve complained as much I now need to say how good the purchased slider is! Even the German taxes was very high so the whole thing was around $270, now the product is still worth the price (I would pay a hundred more for a simple steel Rapt). This is the best slider I´ve ever held in my hand, not the action but the overall appearance: most innovative design, insane precise machining and most silent one (without that godless ugly tape stuff).
Just two things as a constructive critic: change the customer interaction (desperately, this could be dangerous for your reputation), and offer the items with a set of replacement parts (screw, rubber rings, magnets – wouldbe maybe $15 more which is okay).

The admin of the website probably doesn’t even look at the comments. I mean I’m sure you guys have good reasons of your own. But seriously, not the way to go. There must be some logistical reasons, etc. Magnus must explain why certain items are shipped within “48 hours” and other items that were sold 3 months ago are still not being shipped lol. I mean I get that there are good reasons. But, seriously, you need to think about how existing customers are anxious about the purchases they made. Comments show that. They are the evidence. I am sure there are more but most of them probably don’t even know this blog exists. Most of them are probably complaining on Reddit or Facebook, etc. Please save your brand.

I ordered it in October, but it hasn’t even shipped yet this year… There are sliders that advertise that they will ship within 48 hours, but my item that I ordered in October hasn’t even shipped yet…
This is just too much, Magnus.

I agree with the person below. You are not caring at all of those who are waiting on the products (aka existing customers who are loyal to your brand). If you have time to create new products and have the capacity to accept NEW orders for NEWER products, then you definitely have time to ship out the rest of the items that are waiting to be fulfilled. This is not right.

I think it is getting ridiculous at this point. Instead of pushing out the delayed orders, you are putting out new maglab and other supposed “available to ship” sliders every day on the website. What is going on here? Instead of paid customers who are waiting for months on end, why are you creating other new products that are available to be shipped now? Get your shit together man.

Now I’m reading all these comments and blog posts after I purchased my very first Magnus slider. I ordered pre-order one that said “guaranteed to ship within 14 days”. I hope Magnusx doesn’t switch up on me.

Received my Bolty today. Milling is beautiful, ultra smooth. Pen is super rattlely though. The mech rattles, the refill rattles, the tip wiggles. Tolerences seem way off on this one. Disappointing, expected better.

I’m glad that you’re still willing to stick with the GripTek sliders. I’m sure that after some setbacks most people would want to ditch the idea and move onto refunds/exchanges. So I applaud you for still trying to make it happen!

You’d think if you were so far behind on filling orders, you would be working on making the items your late on. Instead each one of these excuse posts is also trying to sell a bunch of additional things your making. Focus on the people you’ve already taken money from instead of trying to get more sales that you won’t ship for 6 months.

Ha, shipping dates changed yet again, even after publishing this blog post!
The package will not arrive before Christmas for the gift it was intended (order was placed back in September!)
I requested an order cancellation 2 days ago, and still no answer.
“Kick-ass customer service”, yeah, you don’t say!

Why are you charging a package price?
And if you are going to change the delivery deadline at will, why did you provide a deadline?

Well… in view of lack of any communication now information comes that it will be 30% more expensive and need to get picked up at customs bureau with a full filled working scheduler – that´s fun. If I had the choice I would choose a refund, but now the things are put in final…
Why do I get a message at Facebook to mail you (FB is claimed not safe for this?) when there will be no response? Anyway, hope this is not ending up in similar catastrophe like Otto with his Pillar preorder. For future I´ll stay with Asian makers, never had a single issue but a lot with “big” brands from outside Asia, now I´m sure this is not coincidence…
