NEW Magnus "Clicker" Prototype

Have been sitting on this for a long time - would like to make it... but thought I would gauge interested from you. :-)

Brass And Copper "Toad Skelly - Fine"

After a bunch of head-scratching... then banging our heads against the wall ...then designing ...making ...and finally, testing. We've come up with a way to make "skelly" Copper and Brass sliders without the large Titanium inserts.

If you recall, our old Titanium inserts threaded into the (usually) Brass or Copper body. The problem this solved was the threads on softer metal body would often be stripped when people go take the slider apart and then put it back together. I get it... most people are not familiar enough with metal -- especially how soft Copper and Brass can be.

Bu putting this Titanium insert in ...the small screws that hold the plate on would thread into the Titanium insert (and no the Brass or Copper).

Problem:

We've been doing a lot of "Skelly" style sliders recently ...but not in Copper and Brass because it would look pretty ugly with three Titanium discs blocking the see-through holes.

Solution:

I call them"Micro Inserts". We've just made the first few of these sliders and they are working like a dream.

The inserts are as small as we can physically make them -- just a bit bigger that the thread for the screw. Looks so much better.

I know what you're thinking, "Magnus, won't this thread just strip or come undone?". Fair point, but the answer is... no. The reason for this is twofold:

#1 - The thread is larger (it's not much larger but it makes a big difference to the strength)

and

#2 - We specifically make the thread on the outside of the micro-insert, and the thread on the Brass or Copper body, with a much tighter tolerance ...and then we can put a lot of force to tighten the micro-insert into place (i.e. it's not coming out!).

They're working very well ... they look damn good ...and they'll start being offered soon!

Skelly Atom

The Skelly Atom has been horribly popular.

In fact, it's so popular...

The price is $347 (and it sells out within seconds usually). But I've been putting some up here and there on the lucky drop on the front page at $399 ...with the plan than people can let it drop down to near the base $347 price.

BUT, that plan has not really been working because people are just buying it right away at $399. :-/

I'm going to try and make more - but it takes 5 hours to make each one and we're already at capacity. But I'm doing what I can.
