Bringing Back Random Older Sliders

I have designed an obscene number of different sliders of the years ...and I honestly don't know if that's good or bad.

Pretty sure there must be hundreds at this point. But the funny thing is that most of them are not made any more.

There are not many designs that hold up over time. The Toad, ToadX, and SkellyHex are probably the main sliders. The Magic Beans (not a slider but still a fidget) is another one.

Everything else seems to have appeal to some - but not to everyone. This is the reason I bring back some designs very briefly and then move on.

Recently I offered the Retro and the Skimmer (old school sliders  but updated for the plates we use now).

This week I have the Egg Slicer. Only 5 made. But it's back until those 5 have gone

Some TRUTH About How I Work

As I explain in just a second... I am a very simple human and a I run my life -- and business -- in a very simple way (man, that sounds so arrogant and egotistical :-D).

Here's the reason I'm telling you this:

From the outside I often see people (usually on Facebook) talking about how I won't make more of something because of "X reason" or "Y reason", etc.. There always seems to be reasoning for things which I am weirdly unaware of.

Here's the simple truth - it's my entire "business plan" in a simple 2-step format:

#1 - I come up with a new design, make it and offer it.

#2 - If it's popular, then I keep making it. If it becomes not popular (which most designs eventually do), then I stop making it.

Believe it or not, that is the entirety of how I run Magnus Fidgets. :-)

P.S. Okay, there are probably still a few other things that need answering like ..."Magnus, why is your website so ugly?" ..."Magnus, why do you have so many robots?" and ..."Magnus, did you ever receive any money for the hideously ugly movie character Shrek seemingly being based on you?".

So many unanswered questions.

CNC Skull

I'll probably put this up on the website for sale soon:
This Brass one is the exact one I used in filming the video below.

What I did in the video was machine in Brass and then change the yellow brass colour in the editing of the video afterwards ...because you NEED coolant when machining Titanium (so this was the only way I could figure out how to do it).

Hallo Magnus, ich habe schon den Skull aus Titan, habe auch Interesse an dem aus Braas. Was möchtest du dafür haben.

Dir eine gute Zeit, Rolf

Rolf Breitenfeldt ,

Hi Magnus et al,
The Copper mini atom is sure to be an awesome product like it’s Daddy i have the standard size in Titanium and want the copper mini one now too I have arthritis on my hands and these really help me with my dexterity. Funds are currently depleted so 🙏 make them in the future, Buddy.
In my personal view, they should be available on the NHS for occupational, physio- and psychological therapies!
Keep up the imaginative(/design)- work!
Thank you for your sliders and my Atom – they help me tremendously!
Kind Regards,
Mike

Mike PACYNKO,

Want the Skull. Please make more in Titan.

Joseph Schwäbig,

Love simplicity! Curious though, what metric are you using to determine popularity?

Jason S,

Man I really miss the old style of sliders. They were clean and simple. I miss the old plates too, the zirc and SS with dimples. Hope you go back to making stuff like that someday

McKenzie,

I’d love to buy the skull.!!! Please

Daniel Ketcham ,

I love the egg slicer! Can you please make it available with x plates??
Thanks
