EXOTIC Saturday LAUNCH

Continuing the consistent Saturday LAUNCHES...

I have something a bit different for you this week - Exotic Sliders!

I'm going to be offering a few different models ...and every one is an Exotic (mostly Crystalized Titanium).

You're going to find a few Toad Smooth Sliders, a few Shockwave Sliders, Turtle Sliders ...and more.

(Even More) NEW Designs

In the last couple of blog posts I've shown you some new designs.

And, this week, I'm going to show you some more.

The truth is...

Overall, I'm reasonably good at knowing what designs will be popular ...and what designs won't.

However, recently I've been getting a solid amount of enjoyment of just trying all sorts of different things ...regardless of my own personal opinion about it. :-)

Here's a couple of the latest designs:

Brass Sliders (That Look Like Copper)

We made one of these a week or two ago ...and have just made another three.

I explain in the video how it's done:

IMPORTANT Atom News

If you're holding off on ANY version of the Atoms, then you NEED to watch this video...

(SPOILER ALERT: I may not make either of these sizes for some time ...and maybe not ever again. Deadly serious.)

@jjui…

Magnus is beside Ivan the most innovative and skilled producer of fidgets by far, even if I personally don´t prefer lots of designs for personal aesthetic reasons (style). The creativity and constructing ability here is absolute unreached and outstanding, and, in comparison to some other established makers absolutely fair priced. Who else shows up this performance in your mind? (I can imagine, just a rethorical question)

The only based point in your post is the use of zirconium for slider plates, which never worked good no matter how the design comes along, zirconium always rubs very sticky, especially oxydized one. Wish there would be some skelly hex plates in brass/bronce or steel, even if steel is a very simple material in comparison to zirconium.

So, I´m not a raving cheerleader for Magnus or someone else, but need to say that your “critics” seem to show up an individual antipathy for this maker, what ever the reason could be. Maybe you´re out of a specific bubble in this subculture (TDF?), this usually and mostly is the corner such statements were made. A bubble where people are overhyping artificial scarce fidgets like a religious sect would do, paying unrealistic amounts of money for trivial designs – and very often made very cheap in Asia…

Tom,

Hi jjui,

I’m just a collector and I’m not getting paid at all to type this. I just want to stay neutral, but your statement really seems bias toward this specific fidget maker.
There’s nothing wrong with Magnus pumping out more products. This shows his success. It’s already hard enough to getting special fidget sliders from Moduswork Rapt which I consider holy grail. However, Magnus fills the market with obtainable fidget at the highest quality at MSRP prices. Why does Magnus have to face consequences? It’s just fidget sliders…..

h,

You act like you know everything and claim your products are premium, but the truth is, you don’t understand sliders at all.

You kept producing them for months with a completely messed-up magnet layout. You didn’t even notice that you were selling plates that were too stiff and didn’t slide properly. Quality issues show up from time to time, and most importantly, you completely ignore one of the key values in this hobby: collectability.

And now you’re selling a “one-of-one limited edition” slider?

Don’t try to cover everything with polished, emotional words.

You bought CNC equipment thanks to the users who supported you, then started pumping out products like crazy, splitting the designs into endless variations, and raising prices aggressively while selling them like Walmart.

Now it’s time to face the consequences.
