New "Retro" Slider
Yes, I know, something can't really be "new" and "retro" at the same time ...but, that's just what this slider is.
This slider just came off the CNC machine a few minutes ago - and, honestly, I feel it has something special...
Nothing To Do With Pens Or Fidgets...
I'm putting this here's because I'm very excited about it.
It has nothing do with fidgets. It has nothing to do with Pens. But it does have everything to do with knives.
If you're not into high-end folding knives... then carry on, nothing to see here. :-)
BUT, if you want to take a look at something new and never-been-done-before in the world of knives ...then here's a short video (no audio) showing one of the parts of this NEW locking mechanism.
Crystalized ZircuTi And Other Exotics
I'm having a bit of a hard time tracking the names of the materials used in our Exotic sliders.
The main reason is I can buy, essentially, the same material from two different suppliers. One will call it "Black Timascus" ...and the other will call it "ZircuTi".
But, by the time we've cut, machined, finished and coloured it ...then it's hard to identify where ti came from originally.
So, here's what I'm doing...
I'm going to try and standardize the naming in-house ...and trust that Customers will pay the most attention to the photos. We'll see how it goes.
